Qatar Airways Will Fly To Melbourne
Melbourne (MEL) will be the first destination for Qatar Airways flights to Australia. The airline has announced it will start its Australian services on Dec. 6 and will operate three flights per week using a new Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, due for delivery later this year. The service will become daily in early 2010, following the delivery of a second long-range Boeing. The new operation will connect travellers from Australia to the United Kingdom and Europe with a one-stop service and a planned one-hour connection time in Doha (DOH). From Qatar Airways’ hub in Doha, passengers are able to link to destinations across South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.
