Dragonair Boosts Pearl River Delta Service
On Sept. 14, Dragonair will launch a new service from Hong Kong (HKG) to Guangzhou (CAN), the capital of neighbouring Guangdong province. The twice-daily service, to be operated by Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, will provide passengers travelling between Hong Kong and Guangzhou with more choice. Currently China Southern Airlines is the only carrier servicing this route. The 50-minute flight to Guangzhou will depart Hong Kong at 08:35 and 20:40. Flights from Guangzhou will depart a 10:15 and 22:25. The early morning and evening departures from Hong Kong are designed to offer international travellers convenient connections into and out of the Hong Kong hub. Dragonair’s sister airline, Cathay Pacific, will codeshare on the service, subject to government approval.
